a couple of jr. gents

heres a couple more i finished over the w'end.

first one is a bit of cooktown ironwood burl, this one started life as a closed end pen but cracked and split all over the place!

lucky the blank was long enough to retrieve a lower barrel from, and even then i had a blow out on it! but managed to save the peice and glue it back in. ( i really gave up on this one, its very rough)

the second is a bit of spalted plane tree burl, some really great colours in this one.
