Hey folks. I had a great weekend with the family and was able to get two blanks I've been eyeballing lately, turned. First is a Brooks blank and the second is a pine cone blank from buzzzz 4. I got both from a cast away box several months ago. Loved turning both blanks and hope I did them justice. As always comments and suggestions are always welcome.

They look nice! What is it like turning the pinecone blank?

It turned very well. Have to be careful when you're getting to finished size, because the pine cone bits like to tear out a little. Go slow with sharp tools and it'll work out just fine. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys!! I always sweat when I turn super nice blanks like these. I have a cherry pit blank from buzzzz that's next on the list. I know I'm gonna sweat bullets with that one.
