Couple of home grown blanks

I actually turned a couple of my home grown blanks today. I have been busy casting but never getting round to turning any. Hope you like them and thanks for looking.

C&C welcome.

Both are JR Gents. Deep blue pearlescent on chrome, and a sort of camouflage on gold.

Actually went to the trouble of replacing the centre band and cap insert with parts to match. First time I have done this and it really does make a difference, I shall start doing it as routine I think.

Nice work Eric! Your home brews look good and your choice of plating on each works very well with the blanks. Nice touch on the center band and finial. That little extra always seems to give the pen more of a WOW factor.
