A couple of Gold & Black Double Dyes

These two pens were made from the same piece of Double Dyed Black & Gold Box elder Burl. However, just a bit of black showed up and a whole lot of gold. The first one is a Sierra Elegant Beauty and the second one is an Atlas a.k.a. Cabrerra a.k.a. patriot chrome pen with African Blackwood and aluminum. CA/BLO finish on both.

Joe, the blanks may not have "turned" out like you expected, but the final result is very nice.
