Two great looking pens, hard to choose between them, but the Cocobolo has some very unique grain features near the closed end.

I love the shapes, normally closed ends look over long, but these look excellent and more compact.

Thanks Mark. They are exactly the same size as a regular Gentlemen's pen when assembled. The "over long" look usually occures when making the smaller Baron or Jr. Gent style because the bottom barrel has to be drilled 2 7/8" deep to allow for the fountain mechanism or rollerball refill, which makes it out of proportion to the smaller upper barrel.

BLO is short for Boiled Linseed Oil. I use it after dry sanding and just before applying the C.A. glue (superglue) finish.
