A couple in corian

I've seen many comments about how corian makes for lesser pens, but I just don't think so. I think it depends on the pattern, just like most other materials. Here's a bright copper Sedona in bone, and a gold Tycoon in white.

I think it depends mostly on the pattern of corian. Those look good to me. Especially for a wedding pen.

Thanks for the compliments. I do believe Corian gets an undeserved bad rep, based on some of the less appealing patterns. The comment that stuck with me basically said that a pen in the Guild didn't belong, simply because it was made out of Corian. Anyway, these 2 went over well. The Sedona was an 80th birthday gift, and the Tycoon actuall brought in a little cash. :biggrin: Cash is good.

Sue, It really didn't add any weight to the pen, as there isn't much material left. On the slimlines, I rather like the added heft. I also make a really fat one that the kids seem to like. It's definitely heavier, but not overly so.
