A couple of closed barons

Two closed end barons. The first is a Gold Ti fountain pen made from what a guy on eBay calls "Waterfall" Bubinga. The second is a Sterling Silver rollerball made from Bois de Rose from BigRob. You can see it in the photo but there's a Swarovski crystal, about 1/16" embedded in the end.

The top one is my favorite but they both look nice. Good fit and finish. I like the shape and the closed end. Keep up the great work![8D]

Beautiful. But the top photo doesn't look like a Baron. Barons have a faceted nib end, the one pictured looks round and smooth.

I believe only the Baron rollerball has the faceted nib. The parts definitely came from a bag labeled Baron and it did come from BB.

The Baron FP does have a round body. The tip off that it is a baron is the two tone nib.

Gerry,I like the bubinga,it has a nice pattern to it and also the shape of the closed end of it. Not too fond of the round end on the bois de rose but that's just a personal opinion. The fit and finish are top notch.

I also prefer the shape of the Bubinga as well along with prefering the wood. Both are nice though.
