A couple cigars plus a couple more this weekend

These are my first cigar pens. The top one is some figured/burl maple, next is an oriented strand board pen, an antler european, then a blue acrylic for my daughter. She saw the post for the acrylic pens I turned for the art guild and put in an order.

How much CA did you have to soak into the OSB and how many times did you have to sharpen the skew to get that one done?

I found this OSB at work from a skid. It was very soft and really light colored. At about a 1/16 oversize I soaked it with thin CA. There was one void that I had to fill with sawdust and thin CA. Didn't have to sharpen the skew, it turned like butter. Yup, this is flake board, and I think it is aspen.
