Two bullet pens from GPW and a box from Timberbits. They are for a shooting couple and I have purposely left the pens fat to gain the colour and the bark on the antler. Buffed with 0000steel wool blue rouge and final buffing.

Sam,
Go for Gold. Of the two pens sure the proportion of the Silver wanes, yes the bark is saved.
On the other hand it differentiates the two and combined one says man pen and the other precious metal lady pen. Each of them improve on going Army and save ages in making, the cartridges should be winners for the couple.

Regards to you and Pat.

Peter.

You have two very nice pens there Sam. The question to save the bark or bring the antler down is one rather hard one to get right. My preference is leave some of the surface natural to verify what it really is. Congratulations on both pens. they should be cherished for years.

Nice work Sam, Im not big on the antler "bark" so I would usually turn it down. Im not to keen on the fat parts, got enough of my own to worry about.............
