A couple of Chrome Baron RB in Crushed Amboyna Burl in Silver Lava Amalgam-Mutt blanks.

One has the burl dyed red.

I got the blanks at BearToothWoods before they sold out.

Some may not like the background for the photos but that's how it goes:)

+1 on the great pens. Personally, I like the background. It doesn't hide the pens, and as long as it doesn't camouflage the item being photographed, I like it.

Those are very interesting and very nicely done. Using the chips of amboyna was a great idea and keeps some beautiful wood in circulation instead of in the junk box. Really nice pens great job.

Thanks for the kind words on these pens.
I am hoping that these get re-stocked so I can get some more.
They turned very nicely and I had no chip out or tear-out on the burl bits at all.
I think these blanks would go with most any plating. I had made a pair of Barons in Black Chrome and they looked pretty nice as well.
