Cottonwood Burl on Executive

First time to use the Executive (rhodium) and I must say I am impressed. Matched it with some cottonwood burl with awesome chatoyancy. About 15 coats CA.

Very nice work!! I have a cottonwood tree in my backyard that is dying. I am waiting for it to fall or until I get a chainsaw. If I have my way it will be bowls and pens by this time next year.

Looks great! The finish is superb. I like the executive kit too, I wish the nib unthreaded to change the refill though. Sometimes the end finial can be though to remove.
