this is cotton stalk pen number three.it was a fatter stalk and was easy to turn. i have been running a stalk cutter for a couple of weeks and have been looking for the big ones:biggrin:

It would be the stalk (or fiberous stem) of the cotton plant that remains after harvesting. It would be similiar to the corn stalks remaining in the corn field after harvest.

First cotton stalk that I can remember being posted here. I sure chopped a enough cotton in my early years!

I will have to try this! Bet I could sell a bunch around here!

Any way there could be enough of those things lying around that an enterprising young man could make a buck or two selling them to those of us who do not have cotton fields out our back doors? That was a very nice looking pen and I wouldn't mind turning one or two myself
