A while back I was trying to make a Vertex Supreme with a Rhino Molten Bronze blank. Long story short, the top section cracked when I drilled too far and penetrated all the way through. I couldn't completely give up on it, so i held onto the two sections of blank. Finally got around to doing something with it. I decided to cut it short and pair it with some Cocobolo. I think it turned out pretty nice. CC are welcome.

From what I can see, beautiful fit and finish ... I can't see a lot of details, however, due to the light.

It could just be a matter of changing the backdrop to a white one that would reflect more light ... or changing the color of the light coming from the bulb you are using for lighting (it's pretty yellow, and it's washing out the colors).

You might want to try setting it up outside for a photo shoot, where you can get some nice direct natural sunlight.

Still a beautiful pen! :)

Just a thought, if you had cut the Rhino in half and bracketed the cocobolo it would have a bit more balance... Just my opinion and it still looks good.
