Also used ca to stablize

Thanks Perry , I have not seen any Pencil cobs on the market . But that may explain the color still being on your pen . All the cobs I've turned , had almost 0 color at finish , even though I paid for the color . The worst part is , my cousins father - in - law is in a Corn Growers assn . in Illinois and ordered 6 specified colored pens . Haven't had any more orders . Should have dyed them myself ! Sorry for venting ! I hate corncobs now . Yours is very nice Perry ! [:eek:)][8D]

Chuck, I used the pencil cob corn cob,very small dia. therefore you can do smaller dia pens. Stablizing a bit easier too I think. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Mark ! I was wondering if MY dye would penetrate he stabilizing material . I'll have to try that out .
