Johnny stabilizes these and when I ordered he didn't have his dye equipment. I am not sure how to dye stabilized materials.

When I do mine (hopefully this weekend), I plan on trying the Prismacolor markers on one, unless I hear otherwise on here, just to see whether/how it works out.

I wish you well in dyeing anything that has already been stabilized. Remember that stabilization injects resin (plastic) into the grain and pores. There may be nothing for the dye to fill and bind with.

Very nice Pastor Bill. Actually it is kinda fun to see the look of the corncob without dye. It gives a reference to compare with. As usual the lines look good. Thanks for sharing.
