Thanks for the compliments. I usually turn to about 4.00 give or take a smidgen or two. Then I taper the clip end and nib end to match the bushings. Then I round the middle to give it a slight wasp waist. Depending on how rought the cut is, I start with 150 grit thru 400 grit then mico mesh thru 12000. Meguiars (spelling?) scratch remover (it does work) then buffing wheel and diamond polishing compound.
