Thsi is my first pen using corian. It is from one of the blanks I WON from the "new Member lottery (only new member that put in for it).:D

Loved turning this one. Finished really nice using w/d sanding 220, 320, 400 and than auto rubbing compound and auto polishing compound.

OK here is what I did after blowing out two blanks (saved the second one because I cut it longer just for that purpose). I decided to try drilling a small hole first, like 1/8 - 3/16. Than I start stepping up in bit size until I got to the required hole size. I used four bits to get to the 7mm size. The first hole has to be drilled slow and cleaned out often. The following bits went through faster but I still cleaned out often. I found I got a much more accurate hole that way and no blow out. Worked for me.
