Copper Wall Street II with dyed Spalted Maple Burl

[Brotherdale]

I made this for my daughter. Wall Street II in copper. I need to work on my photo skills because it looks gold in the pics.
The wood is spalted maple burl that I dyed ocean blue and stabilized with cactus juice.
I'm not sure what the big black spot is, maybe bark? But it adds a lot of character.

Looks good from here, but like you said I think it looks different in person. I'm not a photography expert but from what I do know I think that's a problem with the 'white balance'. If you have any photo editing software and can find the white balance adjustment, it would probably be a pretty quick fix.

That aside it certainly looks neat, I've always found the copper hardware tough to compliment with a blank. Great job!
