copper vein casing

With antler and the $2.00 fancy gun metal slimline from Woodturningz.
First time with this plating, I LOVE it!
Not quite as shiny as Chrome,This style clip allows for a larger top.

Eagle I'm really liking the "hammered copper" look and I agree on the Fancy slim kits ...I like the clip a lot more than the flat plain clip on other kits. They're all I use now on any slimlines. BTW thats a great looking pen ...nice clean lines and simple, yet very elegant!

The copper vein does have a "textured" appearance and feel.
I have double coated with clear coat to achieve a smoother gloosy look.
I like it better without the second coat.

Very nice! I like the white antler. I bet the copper powder coated casing would look nice with a satin gold or a satin or bright copper kit as well. The nib actually almost looks like copper (on my monitor at least), probably b/c it's right next to the copper casing. That's what actually made me think of other pairings- b/c I thought this was a copper kit initially.

On my PC'd casings withthe 30-06 I use a Tn gold slimline from Woodturningz.
The gold will appear as copper many times in the pictures.I haven't used any purchased copper plated kits.I can achieve a similar look with PC.
