This a Jr Retro with deer antler on the cap and spalted maple on the barrel. The deer antler was supposed to be for anover under pen but I did not like the bad area under the clip that had been filled with antler shavings so I ground the ends down the a retro sized tube.
I did not know what I wanted to use for the barrel so I asked my wife to look at my blanks and she chose the spalted maple. The deer antler has around 10 coats CA and the barrel has around 10-15 coats CA all sanded and sanded again through all the colored pads and polished with Novus.
Thanks for looking. Comments bad, good or ugly welcome.

Interesting choice. I've done the mental equivalent of hitting myself in the face with a hammer trying to match deer antler up with other materials without segmenting. That one looks like it worked out pretty well.

I'm on both sides of the fence myself. I like the look of everything, but the cap looks longer than the lower barrel. Might be camera angle though.
