Hi,these are metal blanks I made up
and turned on my Jet mini.
I enjoyed turning the aluminum, but the copper was
a bit of a challenge;rather sticky, and prone to build up heat.
I used what was handy to lubricate cutting the copper,
lucas oil fuel stabilizer, worked like a cutting oil.
I apologize for my photography in advance, but I did try.[:p]
Comments,as always welcome!

nice job, I like that finish.

I bet you could put a pattern into it with a stencil. which puts me to thinking what type of pattern I could put into the aluminum cigar I have with my hobby sand blaster.

Very Nice!
Thanks for sharing, here I've been looking into anodizing my aluminum pens it never occured to me to texture them. Now where did I put that sand blaster?

Greg,I cheated this time, and used lacquer.
It is not a good long term finish.
I have lost my powder coat clear and
have to order more,
basically just wanted to give these a run.[:D]
