Special request to do a Coolabah burl Dayacom pen in Rhodium.

Sanded to 400 grit, 20 thin coats of CA, further sanding to 12,000 grit MM, brasso and automotive wax.

Beautiful to turn. I love turning the hard desert timbers.

The finish looks fantastic. I really like those kits. Although I would lean more towards the Zen. I like the magnetic cap VS the the screw on.

My everyday carry pen is a Zen, but the magnet in the cap seems to be scratching the metal. But, I love it just the same.

Great pen!!

Beautiful job on a very nice piece of wood. I am also a big fan of the Zen pen style pen. You did a beautiful job on the finish! Thanks for sharing.
