Just a thought... I would prefer a smaller picture so I can see the pen on one screen, with ought having to shift left to right. Maybe a fault on my end???

Canon EOS 20D (8 megapixel - 12 years old... got it for around $80 second hand)
Canon EF 50mm macro 1.8 lens (soon to be going to a sigma 105mm macro)
400W of halogen lighting (2 stands with 4x55W halogen on each)
Got another 2x135W halogen light stands on order
ISO 100 ... F5.6 .... about +1 manual exposure
White background and some cheap white umbrellas as light diffusers.

I run a slightly bigger screen on my PC so I will check them on 1080p in future - and post a smaller one - since you can just click through to Flickr and see it bigger anyways if you want.
