Contrary Cherry

I blew out three pieces of wood trying to make the top to this pen.
I was begining to think someone had sent Mr. Murphy to visit me [8D]
This is Brizilan Cherry with a Baron kit. The finish is BLO, CA and Hut chrystal coat toped with TSW. The picture does'nt show the shine.

Nice pen Tom . That Brazillian Cherry is a lot darker than what I have . It looks great .

The form looks good...it's hard to tell about the wood or finish from that photo. Do you have one in focus? If so, it would be nice to see it.
