Really NICE looking pens !!! . So *you* are/were turning challenged  ??????? . I don't think so !!! :)

Haha, I am wood lathe challenged, though getting better.

At this point I'm using the wood lathe to get the blank roughed out to size, then to the metal lathe for final turning and shaping with file and paper. Since wood lathe is a PITA to change speeds, metal lathe is also used for drilling, squaring, and sanding (and final assembly). For polishing, back to the wood lathe.

Regards,
Michael

That is a fine group of pens and a wonderful way to say THANK YOU to the donor.
We should do this more often.

I really like that Mangrove pen.
