This blank is called Confetti, and it is certainly the most colorful blank I've turned to date. What a fun blank! It reminded me of sprinkles on a doughnut, so I made this pen for a friend of mine whose favorite doughnuts are with sprinkles. The pen kit is a Compson in chrome.

Nice pen. Did you have any issues with how the clip seats against the barrel? I turned my first Compson today and turned it between center to the dimensions shown to n the first instructions. The clip did not seat well and I needed to bevel the last 1/16" on the barrel to get it seated properly. Did you use bushings?

I've made several Compsons, and used bushings with all of them. Even though I was careful to turn the finial end to the dimension of the bushing, the clip still sits on top of all of them. You can't hardly tell, though.

G'Day Jim...Your pens look great, well done!!!

Incidentally, those blanks are called 'Candy Crush' in Australia. We have turned a couple for our Men's Shed to sell at markets.

Dave.
