A repo man ordered this beauty from me after buying a nearly identical big brother edition (statesman) two weeks ago. He said he wanted a matching "everyday" pen he could keep in his pocket and would pay $150 for it.
Took me about four hours to make it and I paid $50 in materials so I made $25 an hour on this one. That's actually better than I've done on a lot of my pens, so I'm not complaining!
I've noticed that closed-ended rollerballs (that's what he likes) always seem to turn out to be about a 1/3 to a 1/2 inch longer than standard ones... makes it hard to find a pocket tall enough in which to put it. But I'm sure he'll be pleased. The man is smack-dab in LOVE with green!
Sorry about the quality of the pic. I just don't have time right now to set up my photo box and attempt a good shot. Life's too busy for that right now. But I thought I'd share my work anyway.
Casein top and Dawn's emerald green base, btw...
