Got an order the other day for an Ebony SlimLine(slim, no sculpturing).
This is the result after turning. Been awhile since I have done a black pen. Finish is very hard to get right to avoid micro scratches and the like.
The kit is a premium SlimLine. I was out of this kit so had to run over to my local WC store to get one. Woodcraft calls it Woodcraft Gold which I believe is usually refereed to as Titanium Gold. The kit is about 3 times the price of "good" gold kits but I charged the customer a reasonable premium for it. It also has a premium refill. Wood is Ebony, finish is about 12 coats of medium CA polished to 12000 MM then a light coat of Ren wax for feel.
