This was a commission. I've made bulb fillers before but recently modified the design, including the ink window. Most important, the fill rate is faster--fills completely in five squeezes. Another improvement is the sterling silver furniture. Finally, a Bock cursive italic became available and I couldn't pass it up. Hope you like. Thanks for looking.

Weight 24 g

Length capped 139 mm (5 1/2")
Length uncapped 135 mm (5 3/8")
Length posted 163 mm (6 7/16")

Cap diameter 17.75 mm
Barrel diameter 13.8 mm
Section diameter 12.5 mm

Ink capacity 1.5 ml (twice the capacity of a converter)
Bock polished steel cursive italic

Fantasic work. I can't exactly say why but my eyes are drawn to the cap. I just really like the looks of it.

That is nice and I like the colors. On the close-ups, are those sanding marks or reflections? I sometimes get reflections from the window blinds.

Thanks Derek. Yep, caps are the stars.

Very impressive pen. Great craftsmanship. Jim S

Thanks, Plantman.

Ahem!
I think they're the lines in the Ruby Tortoise lucite ink window.

Bellissimo!!!!!!!!

Ah, italic and bold, caps, purple exclamation points, and centered! Wow! Appreciate that Roy!

Robert, I love to see your posts. Your Duofold homages were especially fine and now this gorgeous pen, they are so much fun to look at.

I have an analogy which may be a little awkward, but bear with me. Your pens remind me of girls in dresses with full hoop skirts. You see this beautiful thing seeming to float effortlessly across a ballroom. You don't see all of the dozens of precise, perfect steps that she has to take to make the rest of her flow so gracefully.

Because you do the many steps so well, we get to enjoy the graceful result of your work. This pen is a Belle.:)
