Colored Pencil Pen

This weekend's silly project was to create a segmented pen out of colored pencils and this is it.

I saw this done with a bowl turning at a woodturner's group meeting last weekend so I decided to try it on a pen.

I butted the pencils together with CA, cut a blank, and held my breath while drilling it out and turning. I like the results.

I love it.. I have wanted to do that.. but also wanted to try the same theory, but instead of cut how you did, cut at a 45 degree angle...
