These two closed-end Barons are made from Pipemakers Lucite with coke can ring impellishments. Yes, the 2nd one is kinda funky, but I like it anyway :)

Nice.. I actually like the 2nd one better. It gives the color breaks a nice step apart. You're execution is perfect. Ever since I saw John doing this I like it, but there is definately some blank combinations that make this stand out nice. The green/black does it for me.

Way to go.

Beautiful!! Top notch as always. I also like the second one. very different. If I saw these at a show, I would go right for the second one cuz it stands out. It screams pick me up.

Just curious how you finished them with the coke can? When I used a can I had a heck of a time finishing.

Thanks everyone...

Bill, no mods were done to the clip retainer cap.

Lou, great to hear from you. This little guy measures exactly 5 5/8" long with the cap in place. The nib-side barrel was right at 3 1/4" long when finished on the mandrel...that's about a 1/4" longer than required for a closed end piece...fits in my pocket just fine.
