Coins and stamps and of course penturning all come together. I started with a copy of the first migratory bird stamp 1934-1935. Then I cut the duck out of an Arkansas quarter and cast. I usualy like to add inlays between the cast and blank but there wasn't much room and I didn't want to try to cram it altogether on the ends. I wanted the pen to be dark so I used buffalo horn for that and also thought it would add an outdoor touch as well. I think with the chrome twist kit and the silver duck goes well toghther. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome.
