I set out to make this after having the components for some time. I used a blank that was too narrow, and after turning I realized I needed to make room for the tenon...well, I was too tired so I improvised...I am NO professional (lol). I still like it though :)

Michelle,
Great to see that you attempted to turn something different, worked it through and have a finished piece. A good learning piece. If you wanted, you could turn the material off the tube and have another go at it.
Can't wait to see your next one!

Edit: Wifey has both Hazelnut and decaf Hazelnut in the cabinet!

Being originally from Maine...where there was a DD on just about every corner, I can see where this topic is going!! That handle sort of screams for a coffee bean blank....didn't realize this kit needed a tenon?

Good save!

Looks good Michelle, it may not be perfect but if it does the job then it is all good.

I must admit that when I saw the coffee I wondered where the other items that go with it are?
