Just finished two more Emperors for a show in 2 weeks. These are lucite blanks in espresso and caramel swirl. I painted the tubes black (I may try a lighter color to see how that comes out) and mated them with the Emperor in gold.

In the pictures, the second looks more favorable, but I suspect in person the first is equally impressive.

Both are excellent! I have never turned an Emperor... might need to expand my horizons!

Mike & Mike: thank you both. Mike, I'll try to take another shot of the darker one. It is more subtle than the lighter one, but it has great depth.

Jim & Brian: I appreciate the compliments, guys!

Mark, you are correct. I do like the Emperor for my full size pens. They are quality kits and go together well.

John, Jim & Jim: Thank you for the kind words. I'll let you know how they go over at the show. I have one in Bozeman then one in Sun Valley a week later.
