This is my first pen made at home with my new lathe. Any and all comments welcome! I'm still a newbie and can't wait to see how far I can go with turning.

Hi Jonathon, that is a great looking pen, I like the color and the grain in the cocobolo, I bet you like the smell of the Cocobolo when you were turning it, I like the smell, now you need to make some more so we can see them, you know it's like an additiction, gotta feed the need. Keep up the good work, aloha.

I had several that were almost brown and white but after awhile they turned a deeper orange and brown. Nice pen though as well good work

Thanks everyone. I really like the grain also. I was going for a slightly different flow to the pen and had a raised section in the middle of the eyes (there were two of them, but i got a lil too close with the tool). Personally I think it would have been awesome but I'm very pleased with this one!
