Made this pen for my mom. She picked out the blank and pen kit. I got this blank from R&B Crafts during the birthday bash. Turned out much better than I had pictured... Mom's pretty good at matching things up! :biggrin:

Thanks everyone! I really like the way the M3 blanks turn out. I have a couple more that I'm anxious to try out!

Looks great! Are those M3 blanks tough to turn? Are they like acrylic or truestone in comparison? I've never turned any yet.

I would compare them to turning TruStone. They can heat up quickly when drilling and sanding and the finishing technique is a little different as you use metal polish instead of plastic polish. Richard provides samples of the polish when you order from him though. All in all, they really are not that difficult to turn in my opinion.
