A while back I saw that someone had made a pen out of denim. I tried one and then I wondered what other materials would look like if I used them. Here is the results of my attempts. I am using medium CA to glue the fabric together and then use thin and thick CA with BLO as a finish. I have a quilt shop that is going to try to sell some of them for me.

I like those ! And what a great idea about taking them to a fabric store to sell.

Good luck.

Those turned out really cool.

I make bunches of faux-carta blanks and have never thought to use a patterned cloth. I'm going to have to expand my horizons.
