Three weeks ago I posted my first Closed End, and have had only a few blocks of time to continue that experiment. Over the past few weeks, these were done in piece-meal fashion as I had time. Yesterday while waiting for some attempts at segmenting to dry, I got the pictures done.
PEN ONE: Stolen by LOML. I thought the cap is too thick and a bit short.

PEN TWO: This is what happens when you don't measure accurately and blow out the top cap closed end... no closed end!

PEN THREE: The shape is getting closer to what I want and the upper cap is longer. I also started to ditch the center ring.

PEN FOUR: Double closed end. Mr. "Stubby"! Way to short on both ends, so it feels very small in my hand. First fountain pen for me, so that is different.

PEN FIVE: Finally got the thinner shape I was looking for. The proportions are better, and I added the finial. Numerous problems, several new blanks were bought to re do, made many errors due to hurrying with lack of time for a slow process... I bought a set of stud earings at the mall with St Patrick's Day theme, and may add a Leprechaun or 4 leaf clover as a "Roll Stopper" on the top cap?

Any comments, suggestions are welcome. Have at it!!
