A Closed Ended Morning

Was starting off the morning wanting to make a pen and this is what I ended up with. I called it an Amboyna Burl Table Top Pen. As usual, any comments, and/or suggestions are welcome.

I really like the cap design...not sure about the base but I guess it is a form follows function thing.

I like it. The wood is beautiful and the finish looks perfect. At 1st I wasn't real thrilled with the design of the base, but the more I look at it the more it grows on me. It's unique. Nice job!

Nice pen! With the intricate shape, I expect the finish may have been difficult. What did you use?
