Closed End Mutt

Bought this blank from El Mostro (Eugene) a while back and finally felt comfortable to turn it. I blew up my first one . Made a custom finial to go with the closed end. Put on 12 coats thin CA, MM to 12000, polished with PlastX. I really like how you can see the depth of the finish in the pic of the ends. As always any comments/questions appreciated!

Thanks yall for the kind words. Was just reading the info for the birthday bash. Since I've only been turning since this past Sept. I'm gonna make something special for the beginners contest (Hopefully!)
