My first closed end pen. I used the threaded adapter from the 10mm disassembly tool and made a pin chuck. It was a little tricky getting the length for the pump for the fountian to fit. I hand drilled the extra length for the pump very slowly!

Thanks for looking.

Sweet pen!
I just love the wood too. I've never carried it. I guess I'll have to be on the look-out for it. In my opinion, that's just the right kit for a closed end pen too.

I picked it up in a swap with Lou. Just now had a use for it. It is one of the few woods that I have to say are striking with the gold kit. The kit makes for a nice closed end. You get a balanced feel with the rounded ends. I think I will make the rest of the NJ sale like this one. Just different woods. I may try some walnut crotch I have tonight.

Dang John, looks like you've been pretty busy! I'm jealous, both of the shop time and the craftsmanship. Excellent job all around!
