Been a while since I did a closed end Baron, but having received this blank it just seemed like a good opportunity.
Thanks, Curtis it turned like a dream!

Excellent, Glenn. I have been waiting for someone to make a closed end pen with a cactus blank. I don't personally do closed end so i could not do it. I really like it. How does the very end look?

the end looks just fine, smoooth as a babies bottom and has a multi "W" design on it. I used a sacrificial block glued to the closed end for support although, now, I dont think I needed it.
Thanks to all for the kudos

I love these blanks and you sure dressed it up nicely with the closed end. It's rare for me to like a closed end pen, but this is one of the few. I'd love to see one post, if that's possible.
