Have you considered recessing the couipler in the top to hide the fitting?
It kind of "sticks out"
Perhaps in a larger picture showing more detail it would not look that way.

Beautiful pen, I especially like the streamline look and the flat top and bottom. The closed ends that have the bellied shape and rounded end are nice, too. This has a more modern look, thats all.

Now, that's a fine pen. Usually when it is a double closed end they look like big dowel rods to me. But, with the accent (trim) ring and hidden clip, it looks like a real luxury pen.

Funny how we all influence and inspire each other. It was YOUR (and Mike V.) work on closed end and recessed clip pens that got me thinking about them.

I'd like to see a photo of the clip recess if you can.
