cigar pen for son in law

At my daughters wedding last month my son in law gave out cigars to all the
men at the reception.
He is an officer and quite a gentleman, but I don't smoke cigars and he insisted
that I take one if for no other reason a keep sake.
In my best penmaker behavior I accepted knowing that there was a potiental
pen in the band.
after playing with my toy train today I decided to slam this pen together,no tape or acrylics just wood, it's been a while since I've tried something new with just wood.The body is wenge and the tip is buckeye

ps. I chose this wood because it is the closest match to the dog turd looking
things.

Jr Gent 1 chrome kit, just countersunk the coupler to get a flush fit at the joint.
I shortened the top tube about 1/8th in to get a better visual balance with the cigarband.
