Haven't made any of these in a while...these shapely EPR Cigars popped off the lathe today:

Blue Angel hybrid...kind or extreme but I like the shape:

Ed,
I love the shape and color combo of the first pen! When I first saw it I started laughing out of excitement. Of course I also am partial to the Texas Tea.
I want to let you know that my son just walked in and all he had to say was, "How did he do that?"
Great job!!

Super looking! I too like the design on the first one. It's Great to see what new designs you come up with.

Thanks everyone, glad you like them.

Terry, for me PR is easier to turn than acrylics. I've heard from others who have the opposite opinion. I think there are too many subjectives to give a good answer...skill level, tool sharpness, what tool you use, etc. I really like to make colorful turnings that are different from other's stuff, so that's what draws me to this material.

Here are links to two EPR (Ed's Polyester Resin) tutorials that describe the process for making bottle stoppers and kaleidoscopes from the stuff. Haven't made a pen tutorial yet, but you'll get the idea:

And yes, EPR pen blanks are for sale through Arizona Silhouette.
