My mom bought this wood on clearance. She originally expected me to leave each piece solid, and just cut blanks out of the slabs. I decided to follow the little cutting instruction sheet that came with it. I got several similar blanks to this one, and a couple with a different design alltogether. Fun light segmenting work to "wet my beak" in segmenting. I am slowly building confidence. It is scary cutting everything on a tablesaw!!

Thanks for looking.

plain gold Cigar with ?????? wood. Purple and green. 7 coats of thin CA, and buffed.

Thank ya everybody!

She did indeed like it alot.

I just noticed the grain pattern. In fact, i went and looked at the blanks i still have, and one is the exact opposite of this one, sideways green wood, and straight purple wood. Might make a neat matching pencil or something!!
