I wanted to be able to make my Rifle Cartridge pens using a Parker refill along with a 7mm Round Top Finial. This is what I came up with using a Wheatherby 300 Magnum and a Deer Antler cap.
It's too bad that you can't buy Cigar kits that use a 7mm finial, maybe some day.

The raduis curves that Weatherby used in his cartridge design look like they make a nice 'curve' for a user to grip the pen with...good thinking! And the upgrade on the ink stick.....big thumbs up!

That looks nice!

I don't fully understand the problem you have. I believe you want to use a parker refill and transmission, but use a 7mm finial.

One idea would be to drill the cap partially with 10mm, and then finish with 7mm tube at the top.

No 7mm tube required, I just modified the cigar cap bushing.
