Cigar - Custom - Orange and Black

This pen was a custom order for a teacher. The school colors are orange and black and the teacher loved the style of the cigar pen, so this is what I came up with. Custom cast and created orange hue (mixed yellow and red over and over and over to match the exact school orange) and pearl added to the mixture. Cigar pen kit with black chrome accents.

Looks great! Love the orange. I've done that mix over and over too...you nailed the perfect shade. Harley fans should be lining up for one also!

Very cool. I've not done a black chrome pen, and tonight I've seen two posts using black chrome kits. I've also seen black enamel kits (Woodturningz for one).

Any recommendations on one over the other, in terms of durability? I'm kinda thinking I'd like to do an all black pen, or maybe one with just a hint of another color in the black blank.
