The cigar presents interesting problems because of the size and caliber needed to match the fittings.
You might care to look at my attempt.
The shell I used was an 8mm remington
I made the split a little higher

While your workmanship really looks great, the overall look of the pen is not a bullet shape. It looks like a nice wood and brass pen though. I really think the smaller tips in my eye look better.

Just my 2 cents.

James, your right, it really isn't a bullet pen and I also like the smaller tips that set off a bullet pen. The bottom part is a 30-06 and the upper is a 300 win mag.
