I bought my first 2 Triton kits and I really like them but I do not understand why they make the trim rings two different sizes. I did not know this as I was sizing up the ends of the blanks and made both ends the larger size. I was able to steal the larger trim ring from the other kit since I had sold the fountain nib with another pen I had sold, everything seems to look and work fine to me. Anyhoo the pen was made with a hand cast jet black resin body sanded and polished.

Brian, That is one very sleek pen! You did a great job casting. I had the same issue with Triton Trim rings one time...and I went and got some Triton bushings from Woodcraft with the the two different sizes for the lower barrel.
Very nice pen! Doc:)
